FUND RAISING

Our February meeting, President, Anna Elliott was delighted to present a cheque for £500 to the representative from the Dame Vera Lynn Children's Charity. This was the total raised in 2022 by Buxted WI for this local charity. Founded by the late Dame Vera Lynn, the charity supports children under 5 living with cerebral palsy.

The Craft Fayre held at St.Marys Church where we ran a Cake and New Bits and Bobs stall. The Jubliee Summer Fayre held at the Buxted Recreation Ground. We ran the tea and homemade cake stall, with cakes baked and generously donated by our own members.
