Outings

Living so close to London we have organised a range of visits including the Royal Opera House,  guided walks in the City of London, Roof top Gardens, Temple of Mithras, Westminster Abbey and the Bank of England Museum. The visits may be combined with a meal out.  The Christmas Lights at Kew with a cream tea proved very popular in January 2022.

Before Covid, we spent a fascinating day in Cambridge, visiting colleges on guided tours, punting and attending the King's College early evening choral evensong.  We hope to return to larger outings in the future.

A small group of members spent the weekend camping at a Tents in Kent event in the summer making the most of all the sports and crafts activities  available despite the badgers pinching some of their food.
