Craft Group

We have a very enthusiastic, scone loving craft group who meet on a monthly basis.  The group coordinates our WI entry into the Forest Row Christmas Tree Competition and the South of England Show at Ardingly.  Regular workshops to learn new skills teaching each other or with external tutors are usually sold out.  Amongst other activities, we have had a go at willow basket weaving, glass fusion, water colour cards, quilting and pastel drawing.  We organise visits to London exhibitions such as Knitting and Stitching. the  Fashion and Textile Museum and the Strictly Come Dancing dress studio.  Members also have the opportunity to sell their own hand made craft goods at our AGM with a small donation to the WI.

Wreath making workshops are very popular in December.  Members have produced some  very professional. decorations for their front door.  We always enter the Forest Row Christmas Tree competition at Holy Trinity Church choosing a theme that allows for the most members to contribute.
